Job Description:

As a Central Sterile Processing Coordinator at OU Health, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our Sterile Processing department. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and implement quality functions within the department, including anticipating, assessing, planning, and implementing strategies to optimize the quality, accuracy, and completeness of instrument trays prior to use.

Your key duties will include:
  • Ensuring that the standards of operation of the Sterile Processing department comply with regulatory agencies' guidelines.
  • Developing and implementing departmental performance improvement activities and ensuring ongoing staff participation.
  • Maintaining continued process improvement in Central Sterile Processing operations and equipment through education, literature, and seminars.


In addition, you will provide recommendations to the Manager of Sterile Processing regarding staff performance and maintain open and active communication with medical staff, patient care staff, and interdepartmental staff.

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year based on experience.
