The Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin and Dell Children's Medical Center is seeking a full-time pediatric cardiologist to serve as Medical Director of the Echocardiography Lab. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care, leadership, and innovation alongside our team of cardiologists and advanced practice providers.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care in outpatient clinic, inpatient consultation, and hospital service
- Supervise advanced practice providers and execute on yearly personal and programmatic goals
- Work with the Chief of Pediatric Cardiology and leadership of the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease to develop and implement imaging services
- Board-certified in Pediatric Cardiology and eligible for faculty appointment at The University of Texas at Austin
- Extensive experience in echocardiography (TTE, TEE, etc.) and leadership roles in imaging
- Previous experience or education in medical administration and clinical research a plus
