Job Summary:

As a Polysomnographic Technologist at UW Health in Northern Illinois, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive sleep disorder testing and analysis under the supervision of the Medical Director. Your expertise will contribute to the department's continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences, aligning with the Health System's initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct polysomnographic testing and analysis to diagnose and treat sleep disorders

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency

Collaborate with medical staff to provide effective interventions and treatments

Maintain current certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist and adhere to annual BLS requirements

Requirements:

Completion of a sleep disorder testing training program

Current certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists or equivalent

Successful completion of annual clinical, age, and job-specific competencies and skill verification tools
