Job Summary

At Mercy Health, we are seeking a skilled Sleep Technologist to join our team. As a Sleep Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our sleep disorder program.

Key Responsibilities

Gather and analyze patient information to determine the best course of treatment

Perform comprehensive polysomnographic testing and analysis, including sleep/wake stage scoring and clinical event identification

Implement appropriate interventions, such as continuous and bi-level positive airway pressure, oxygen administration, and dental appliance titration

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans

Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and test results

Requirements

Associate degree in polysomnography or related field

Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or equivalent

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
