Position Overview
This role collaborates with leadership to establish and manage the strategic vision for a designated geographic region. You will lead direct reports to implement this strategy effectively within their territories, focusing on achieving key business objectives such as sales growth and market share enhancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive market and company goals within your assigned region, including navigating complex regulatory landscapes.
- Utilize strong communication and leadership skills to influence and guide managers and their teams.
- Apply strategic thinking to address unique challenges and enhance profitability.
- Leverage industry expertise to develop initiatives that align with market strategies.
- Assess and manage market presence and agency operations effectively.
- Implement market segmentation strategies to secure a competitive edge.
- Foster strong relationships with district managers and agency owners.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure optimal agent appointments for achieving sales targets.
- Utilize technology to monitor performance metrics and assess strategic effectiveness.
- Set and align performance targets with organizational objectives.
- Develop action plans for areas needing improvement.
- Prepare and present analytical findings to senior leadership.
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Licenses in Property & Casualty, Life, Health, and Securities are necessary.
- Preferred insurance designations include CLU, ChFC, FSCP, CPCU.
- A minimum of ten years in a related field, with a solid understanding of insurance products and distribution models.
- Experience in onboarding new agency owners and staff is preferred.
- Sales experience in Property & Casualty Insurance or Financial Services is advantageous.
- Two years of experience in a Market Leader role is preferred.
This position may involve typical office distractions and requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods. The role also includes the occasional need to lift and carry light objects.
