Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Specialist to join our team at St. Anne Hospital. As a Food Service Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food to patients, staff, and visitors in a safe and sanitary environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare food for patients, staff, and visitors following safe cooking techniques and adhering to state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Support quality control measures such as recipe adherence and food quality consistency.
  • Prepare and serve food within guidelines of menu and dietary requirements using required kitchen utensils and equipment.
  • Maintain labeling and storage of food, equipment, and machinery.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two years of food service experience.
  • Knowledge of storage, preparation, and maintenance of the food services area for a hospital facility.
  • Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of the position.

Licensure/Certification

  • Washington State Food Worker Card within 14 days of hire date.
