Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers and team members to promote a secure shopping experience.
  • Provide assistance during safety incidents and emergencies, ensuring a calm and effective response.
  • Collaborate with store leadership to maintain a strong culture of security by educating staff on company policies.
  • Utilize de-escalation techniques to manage challenging situations effectively.
  • Document and communicate trends related to asset protection and safety.
  • Support recovery efforts for merchandise and assist in the execution of shrink protection strategies.
  • Work closely with the Regional Asset Protection Manager to address safety incidents and share intelligence on theft and fraud.
  • Model safe working practices and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Educate the team on loss prevention strategies and safety behaviors.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by store management.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Compliance with state or local certification and legal requirements for the position.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Adaptability to various technology requirements.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
