Job Summary:

As an Asset Protection Specialist at Carter's, you will play a critical role in protecting our brand and ensuring the integrity of our operations. You will be responsible for supporting shrink reduction initiatives, training store teams on customer service behaviors and asset protection tools, and identifying and communicating external theft trends. You will also build and maintain working relationships with internal and external business partners to gather market data on theft trends and resolution resources. Additionally, you will assist with prosecuting known theft incidents through timely response and proactive case building.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support shrink reducing initiatives, including safety, security, theft, and operational loss
* Train store team on customer service behaviors and asset protection tools, resources, and reporting
* Identify, track, and communicate external theft trends, causes, and resolutions
* Build and maintain working relationships with internal and external business partners to gather market data on theft trends and resolution resources
* Assist with prosecuting known theft incident through timely response and proactive case building, including mandated court appearances
* Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our great product styles, features, and benefits
* Become a product and brand expert of Carters, OshKosh, Little Planet, and Skip Hop to help families navigate every moment from preemie to size 14
