Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Basketball Coach to lead our youth basketball classes and camps. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coaching and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young children.

Responsibilities
  • Provide daily basketball instruction and coaching to students aged 4-18 with varying skill levels.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote skill development and teamwork.
  • Supervise students during basketball activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with fellow Activity Specialists to achieve program goals and objectives.
  • Model positive behavior and sportsmanship, demonstrating Impact Kids' core values.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with children, preferably in a coaching or instructional role.
  • 1-5 years of experience coaching youth basketball, with a strong understanding of the game and its principles.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
Working Conditions

The Basketball Coach will be required to travel to various locations, including schools and community centers. The ability to respond to emergency situations and maintain good physical condition is essential for this role.
