Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Azure Summit Technology is a leading provider of high-performance RF hardware, firmware, and software products, and innovative, practical, multi-function RF systems solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team.
Key Responsibilities- Design, development, modification, production, test, debugging, and evaluation of complex RF and digital circuit boards and assemblies.
- Strong general knowledge of electrical/electronics engineering fundamentals and actual experience designing and developing complex mixed signal electrical PCB assemblies and bringing them to production.
- Familiarity with design for test and design for manufacturability.
- Technical responsibility for planning and conducting technical projects or phases of projects and may coordinate the efforts of electronics technicians as required.
- Consolidate results of hardware design elements and conduct independent technical investigations involving the origination or modification of material, component, or process specifications and requirements.
- Evaluation of vendors, products, and services and work closely with Azure team members, vendors, and subcontractors during the design, fabrication, and assembly phases of projects.
- US citizenship due to nature of the work and contract requirement.
- Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance due to contract requirement.
- Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in design, testing, and validation of printed circuit boards.
- Minimum 5 years experience using a signal generator, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, and oscilloscope to debug analog, digital, and RF circuits.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Master's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- Expertise in schematic capture and layout guidance with Cadence Allegro tool set.
