Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at our newest facility in Baton Rouge, LA.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented LPN to provide quality medical care to our clients throughout their admission, treatment, and discharge. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to multitask, and possess a compassionate and dignified character that models recovery principles.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality medical care to clients, including medication management and coordination with medical teams
  • Collaborate with extended medical, clinical, and UR teams to ensure seamless coordination of care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation, tracking, and reporting for each client
  • Provide patient education in individual and group settings

Requirements:

  • Minimum one year diploma program post-high school
  • Current licensure necessary to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, efficient worker with ability to multitask
  • Compassionate, dignified character that models recovery principles
