About the Role

The Curriculum Manager will oversee the entire curriculum and instructional design process, ensuring that training and learning needs are met in accordance with policy and strategy.

This role requires strong communication skills to collaborate with leaders and teams across functional areas regarding project materials, subject matter, and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple design projects using sound project management tools and methodologies
  • Advise trainers and optimize training programs by assessing job performance and skill proficiency of learners
  • Represent cross-functional teams in systems implementation at an enterprise level
  • Secure content from vendors, cross-functional departments, and other parties as needed for course development
  • Review, edit, and redesign existing curriculum as needed
  • Design, pilot, and launch new curriculum as needed
  • Proactively seek new ways to manage train-the-trainer roll-outs and conduct program effectiveness reviews
  • Work with subject matter experts to proactively partner to obtain and validate courseware content
  • Establish relationships with various stakeholders to ensure timely response to training needs
  • Work with members of the system implementation team to meet design goals efficiently, effectively, and within the specified timeframe and budget while exceeding stakeholders' expectations
  • Manage vendor relationships for long-term partnership
  • Proactively introduce new training tools and concepts into the training development process, including interactive video and audio

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of instructional design experience
  • Very good knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Excel
  • Expert communication skills
  • Very good knowledge of the ADDIE process
  • Very good knowledge of Adobe Presenter
  • Very good knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Excel

Desired Qualifications:

  • Design of in-person and virtual training
  • Design of on-boarding curriculums
  • Very good knowledge of adult learning principles
  • Very good knowledge of program and training evaluations process and standards
  • Very good knowledge of virtual and instructor-led design

Education:

  • Minimum required: Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years of instructional design and delivery experience in lieu of degree
