Job Summary

We're seeking an HR Director to join our high-expectation, high-performing team. As a key member of our organization, you'll be responsible for agency culture, benefits coordination, performance review management, employee onboarding and offboarding, and managing HR policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain employee insurance plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations, and serve as a liaison between employees and benefits providers.
  • Lead the processing of new hires, including I-9 process management, benefits administration, background checks, and other onboarding requirements.
  • Drive Fitzco's efforts in people-first culture development across all aspects of the agency experience.
  • Lead the processing of resignations/terminations and offboarding procedures.
  • Lead the preparation and management of performance review processes.
  • Assist with recruitment and interview processes, tracking candidate status in HRIS and responding with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.
  • Ensure that benefits and hiring practices are administered and followed in accordance with federal and state regulations.
  • Coach Managers and Supervisors in proper employee relations resolutions, including documented coaching and disciplinary action.
  • Perform internal customer service functions by answering employee and management requests and questions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience as an HR Manager or Associate Director.
  • Exposure to Labor Law and employment equity regulations.
  • Effective HR administration and people management skills.
  • Exposure to payroll practices.
  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools.
