We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Northwell Health. As a Radiologic Technologist: Vascular Interventional Radiology, you will be responsible for operating x-ray and auxiliary equipment, processing images, and maintaining required documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for exams, ensuring their comfort and understanding of the procedure.
- Operate x-ray equipment, positioning patients according to departmental standards, and adjusting equipment to obtain correct exposure.
- Monitor patients' conditions, recognizing and reporting any abnormalities or reactions.
- Process and maintain exposed images, labeling them correctly and maintaining required records.
- Perform related duties as required.
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
- New York State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience performing radiologic exams.
- BLS through the American Heart Association.
IR experience is required for this position. The salary range for this position is $45-$85/hour.
