We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Northwell Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating x-ray and auxiliary equipment, processing images, and maintaining required documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for exams, ensuring their comfort and understanding of the procedure
- Operate x-ray equipment, positioning patients for optimal imaging results
- Monitor patients' conditions during procedures, recognizing and reporting any abnormalities
- Process and maintain exposed images, labeling them for identification and record-keeping
- Perform related duties as required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program
- New York State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration
