Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Northwell Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing special procedures and duties of a Radiology Technologist.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Special Procedures Equipment: You will operate special procedures equipment and assist physicians during special procedures.
- Perform CT Scans: You will perform CT scans independently and assist radiologists and physicians as needed.
- Load and Operate Automatic Injectors: You will load and operate automatic injectors in specialty areas.
- Process and Monitor Imaging: You will process and monitor imaging, including spot film, rapid film changers, and digital acquisition.
- Clean and Maintain Equipment: You will clean and maintain x-ray apparatus, including tables and injectors.
- Adhere to Quality Standards: You will adhere to quality standards and ensure that all imaging is performed to the highest standards.
- Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program: You must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
- ARRT Registration: You must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- New York State Department of Health Licensure: You must be licensed by the New York State Department of Health as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Experience: Two years of experience as a diagnostic Radiologic Technologist is preferred.
