Job Summary

As a CT Technologist II at CommonSpirit Health, you will play a vital role in capturing high-quality diagnostic images that enable radiologists to accurately diagnose and treat patients. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a strong understanding of diagnostic imaging principles, excellent patient communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform computed axial tomography (CAT) scans, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), interventional radiology, mammography, sonography, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Position patients accurately and safely to ensure optimal image quality and minimize radiation exposure.
  • Apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, teammates, and yourself.
  • Troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain radiology equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize equipment failures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and accurate diagnoses.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology, or within 60 days of graduation.
  • Registered or registry-eligible in CT through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
