Job Summary:
Tennova Healthcare – Clarksville is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
- Operate CT systems, including processing and maintaining equipment, and ensuring proper function and safety.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.
Requirements:
- BLS certification.
- AART with CT registry.
- Ability to work variable shifts, including overnights and weekends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Working Conditions:
- Work in a hospital setting, with frequent exposure to radiation and potentially hazardous materials.
- May be required to lift or move patients, equipment, or supplies.
Education and Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited AMA school.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
- State licensed as a general radiographer.
Language: English (en-US)
