Covenant Health is seeking a skilled Imaging Technologist II to join our team in Radiology Diagnostic. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality X-ray images and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality X-ray images
- Perform routine and complex imaging procedures, adhering to established radiation safety standards
- Collaborate with patients and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results
- Assist with interventional procedures, including time-outs and informed consents
- Perform venipuncture, start and maintain intravenous access as prescribed by a licensed independent practitioner
- Transport patients and assist with other imaging-related tasks as needed
- Successful completion of an educational program accredited by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Proficiency in all fluoroscopy and specialized exams, including surgery within 6 months
- ARRT (R) certification and state licensure in accordance with Tennessee guidelines
