Job Title: Quality Control Manager

North Wind is seeking a Quality Control Manager to join our team. As a Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are constructed in accordance with established minimum standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of the Quality Control Management Plan and system for all work divisions.
  • Establish and lead quality control initiatives, activities, and corrective actions.
  • Review project specifications for project quality requirements and ensure work performed on-site complies with contract requirements.
  • Conduct weekly QC meetings with the superintendent and provide daily QC reports as described in project contract documents.
  • Manage Non-Conformance Notices and the Request for Information process through corrective action.
  • Manage and resolve issues in conjunction with the project superintendent and the project manager.
Requirements:
  • Graduate engineer, graduate architect, or a graduate with a BS degree in construction management and have a minimum of (5) years' experience in construction.
  • High level proficiency of written and verbal communication required.
  • Must be well organized and be able to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Must have a good understanding of applicable construction laws for local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
