Service Engineer for Additive Manufacturing

Location: Pflugerville, TX

Reports To: Supervisor, In-House Machines and Refurbs

EOS, a global leader in industrial 3D printing, is seeking a skilled individual to deliver exceptional support and maintenance for EOS Additive Manufacturing systems.

Your Responsibilities

· Execute the installation of machinery at EOS facilities to guarantee optimal performance in accordance with EOS standards.

· Refurbish pre-owned EOS equipment for resale to clients.

· Offer on-site technical assistance to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.

· Provide comprehensive Technical Support across all locations.

· Conduct preventive maintenance tasks within designated timelines.

· Accurately complete and submit all service documentation following EOS protocols.

· Collaborate on projects including training, documentation, and exhibition setups.

· Work closely with 2nd Level Support to maintain the local install base to company specifications.

· Maintain service records and field service reports effectively.

· Manage EOS service tools and spare parts inventory to ensure the accuracy of assigned company assets.

· Occasional travel may be required to support training and field service/technical support activities.

Your Qualifications

· Certified technician or skilled professional in electrical engineering technology.

· Two to three years of experience in servicing industrial machinery.

· Proficient in data preparation for additive manufacturing using MAGICS and/or SolidWorks is preferred.

· Familiarity with industrial lasers and axis motion systems is advantageous.

· Ability to interpret written, oral, schematic, and diagram engineering instructions.

· Commitment to service standards, including account ownership and customer satisfaction.

· Proficient computer skills (PC configuration, MS-Windows, Network knowledge, MS-Office).

· Ability to work autonomously and manage pressure effectively.

· Team-oriented with flexibility and adaptability.

· Cost-conscious mindset.

· Professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and conduct are essential.

· Willingness to travel as necessary.

· Valid driver's license and passport required.
