Become a vital member of Total Aerospace Services as a Senior Aircraft Mechanic/Inspection Lead, where you will oversee the quality assurance processes within our aviation repair facility. We are looking for an experienced professional who is dedicated to aircraft maintenance and possesses a strong commitment to excellence in inspection.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct non-destructive testing and assembly operations.
- Guide, mentor, and support staff within the maintenance facility.
- Ensure adherence to aviation standards and airworthiness regulations.
- Keep tools and equipment calibration records current.
- Oversee all phases of inspection from initial assessment to final clearance for service.
- Accurately manage documentation and records.
- Detect defects and report any unairworthy conditions in accordance with quality assurance protocols.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft engine maintenance and assembly.
- Possession of a powerplant license is essential; IA certification is not required.
- Level II/III NDT certification is advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of reciprocating aircraft engines is necessary.
- Familiarity with Lycoming and Continental engine types is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.
