This newly established role will focus on specific geographic regions, providing the autonomy to assess, plan, and design supply chain strategies that significantly impact the flow of materials across Vestis's extensive network, which includes 350 facilities and 3,500 routes, all while managing a substantial operating budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a critical member of a dynamic team in a fast-paced fulfillment environment, ensuring strategic oversight and execution of network and route solutions.
  • Monitor trends and communicate ongoing or recurring delivery and fleet operation issues to management.
  • Ensure compliance with business expectations for both middle and final mile operations.
  • Analyze reports and dashboards to identify anomalies and negative trends requiring attention.
  • Foster team collaboration and support.
  • Identify and implement supply chain initiatives that align with corporate strategies and objectives.
  • Develop and manage performance KPIs, metrics, and compliance measures.

This position is integral to a broader strategic initiative aimed at minimizing waste and achieving operational efficiencies while enhancing customer delivery performance. The Logistics Route Optimization Specialist will report directly to the Director of SCND Project Management-Implementation.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in complex supply chain and logistics operations.
  • Extensive knowledge of network optimization and experience with advanced modeling tools.
  • Demonstrated operational and technical expertise in network optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop actionable KPIs and metrics related to service and cost.
  • A data-driven approach to problem-solving with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Compensation: The salary for this position ranges from $55,000 to $80,000, depending on various factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, and market data.
