Job Title: Pediatric Immunology Research Fellow

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in the Department of Pediatrics. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Dr. Manish Butte in the laboratory of Pediatric Immunology.

About the Position

The ideal candidate will have a PhD or MD/PhD in Immunology or a related field and a strong track record of publishing high-quality research. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting independent research in the laboratory, writing scientific manuscripts, grants, and abstracts, and presenting data at regional and national meetings.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct independent research in the laboratory of Pediatric Immunology
  • Write scientific manuscripts, grants, and abstracts
  • Present data at regional and national meetings
  • Participate in laboratory meetings, educational sessions, and safety training sessions
  • Maintain biosafety and other required trainings
  • Provide mentorship to other members of the laboratory
Requirements
  • PhD or MD/PhD in Immunology or a related field
  • Strong track record of publishing high-quality research
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
