Pediatrics Postdoctoral Research Fellow

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced postdoctoral researcher to join our team in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). The successful candidate will have a strong background in biosciences and a passion for cancer immunotherapy and immunology.
Job Summary:The postdoctoral researcher will work under the supervision of Dr. Theodore Scott Nowicki, M.D., Ph.D., and will be responsible for conducting research in the laboratory of Dr. Nowicki. The researcher will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in cancer immunotherapy and immunology, and will be expected to publish results in top-tier scientific journals.
Responsibilities:- Conduct research in the laboratory of Dr. Nowicki, including designing and executing experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and interpreting results.
- Collaborate with other researchers in the laboratory and department to advance the goals of the research project.
- Present research findings at laboratory and departmental seminars, as well as at national and international conferences.
- Write and publish research papers in top-tier scientific journals.
- Participate in laboratory and departmental meetings to discuss research progress and goals.
- Doctor of Philosophy in Biosciences or related field of study.
- Strong background in immunology and molecular biology.
- Experience with murine models of adoptive cell therapy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
