About Your Work
As a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner at our Altais Medical Group Riverside clinic, you'll provide comprehensive care to patients with a range of health concerns, working under minimal supervision. You'll diagnose and treat patients, prescribe medications, and coordinate care services as needed, utilizing evidence-based medicine to manage patient cases.
Your Responsibilities
- Obtain patient history and perform physical examinations.
- Review medications and related instructions.
- Assess home safety and psychosocial needs.
- Document patient information in charts and case management notes.
- Prescribe treatments and medications within scope of practice.
- Maintain patient safety and confidentiality.
- Develop trust and intimacy with patients and families.
Requirements
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.
- Active California Nurse Practitioner License, National Provider Identifier (NPI), and Drug and Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification.
- Minimum of one year of experience in primary care clinic.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience using electronic medical records, Epic experience preferred.
- Experience providing evidence-based and value-based medicine, serving as patient health advocate.
- Ability to function independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
