Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Systems Analyst to join our team at the University Medical Center of El Paso. As a key member of our clinical laboratory team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise in the implementation and maintenance of our clinical laboratory information systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for clinical laboratory information systems
  • Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new systems and technologies
  • Serve as a liaison between clinical laboratory departments and IT teams to ensure effective and efficient utilization of systems
  • Develop and maintain documentation and training materials for clinical laboratory staff

Requirements:

  • Three years of experience in a laboratory setting as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician
  • One year of experience in a systems analyst role, with experience in implementing and supporting information systems in healthcare applications
  • Associate Degree in Laboratory Technology required, Bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in CIS, BSIT, or related computer field
