POSITION SUMMARY: The Auction Operations Assistant will be responsible for the meticulous presentation of auction items, which includes sorting, heavy lifting, cleaning, and labeling. The role also involves assisting with the entry of property details into our database and facilitating client pickups following auctions.

COMPENSATION: Based on experience

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Pre-Auction Responsibilities:

  • Accurately input item information into the auction system
  • Ensure timely imaging of all auction items
  • Prepare items for auction through sorting, cleaning, and labeling
  • Comfortable with daily heavy lifting of items

Post-Auction Responsibilities:

  • Prepare orders for shipping according to established protocols
  • Ensure prompt shipping of orders post-auction
  • Process and manage items remaining onsite until payments are finalized
  • Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors
  • Additional duties may be assigned as needed

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Preferred 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel
  • Strong multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
