Key Responsibilities

As an Environmental Services Specialist, your contributions are vital to maintaining a clean and safe environment for Veterans and their families. You will engage in a comprehensive range of cleaning activities, ensuring that patient areas are pristine and welcoming. Responsibilities include:
  • Cleaning patient rooms, wards, offices, and communal areas.
  • Managing waste disposal and recycling efforts.
  • Performing floor care, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of windows, walls, and furniture.
  • Restocking supplies in restrooms and common areas.


Your work will be conducted with minimal supervision, requiring a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

Work Schedule

Flexible shifts are available, including daytime and evening options, with weekend availability required.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Registration with the Selective Service is necessary for males born after December 31, 1959.
  • Willingness to undergo a background check and pre-employment physical.
  • Participation in health programs, including seasonal vaccinations, is mandatory.


Physical Demands
