ROLE OVERVIEW

The Senior Programs Manager at Rethink Food will play a pivotal role in delivering operational assistance to the Rethink Services division. This individual will oversee a diverse portfolio of projects through agreements with various funding organizations, as well as managing relationships with contract sites and meal suppliers within the Rethink network. Key responsibilities encompass collaborating with site management teams, assessing meal service initiatives, and guaranteeing the provision of high-quality meal deliveries to shelters serving migrant communities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Program Oversight
    • Assess and enhance meal service initiatives
    • Lead efforts in data documentation and stakeholder communication
    • Coordinate logistics for meal delivery and assist with contract and site onboarding
  • Compliance & Data Oversight
    • Refine internal data systems and work closely with the finance team
    • Manage and troubleshoot the external-facing application
    • Address invoice discrepancies and ensure prompt resolution
  • Support Coverage
    • Engage in an on-call rotation and provide necessary support
    • Keep precise records of on-call activities and resolutions
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Foster communication with partners and improve data systems
    • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective meal service

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 3-5+ years of experience in the nonprofit sector
  • Proficient program management and data management capabilities
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and systems
