Position Summary

We are looking for a driven and creative Entry-Level Software Engineer to be part of our Sensor and Systems Business Unit. This part-time position is suitable for individuals currently pursuing a degree or possessing equivalent experience in software engineering or a related discipline. The primary responsibilities will include developing AI agents, researching large language models (LLMs), and creating rapid prototypes to support our innovative projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a diverse team to develop and enhance AI agents, contributing throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Conduct research on large language models (LLMs) to discover new techniques and methodologies for improving AI functionalities.
  • Engage in the design and development of rapid prototypes, transforming innovative concepts into functional software applications.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices in software engineering.
  • Assist in diagnosing and resolving software issues, providing support for testing and quality assurance activities.
  • Participate in team discussions, offering fresh ideas and perspectives, and actively engaging in brainstorming sessions.
  • Continuously learn and adapt to emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends, applying this knowledge to ongoing projects.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Basic understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and large language models.
  • Strong analytical skills and a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate in a team setting.
  • Ability to work independently, managing time efficiently to meet project deadlines.

Compensation

$53,600 - $99,600. This range represents the typical compensation for this position based on experience, location, and other factors.
