About the Role

AnaVation LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior iOS Software Engineer to serve as the technical lead for all iOS software development efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing guidance and expertise in software development, data architectures, and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor junior software engineers in software development efforts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve results and represent the team as a spokesperson
  • Design and implement data architectures, software assurance, and security measures
  • Conduct rapid software prototyping to evaluate technologies and demonstrate capabilities
  • Perform performance, security, and other evaluations of software systems
  • Test software capabilities using novel testing and analysis techniques
  • Document software with an emphasis on architectures, user stories, and interface definitions
  • Practice agile software development methods and participate in team design sessions
  • Support software development infrastructure and assist in building and configuring computing systems and resources
  • Interface with the technical community and other government entities to understand challenges and develop solutions
Requirements
  • Minimum of seven (7) years' experience in software development, technical leadership, and subject matter expertise
  • Experience with modern languages such as C/C++ or Python, and knowledge of other commonly used languages
  • Working knowledge of computing paradigms and environments such as NoSQL systems, cloud computing, and virtualization
  • Experience with end-to-end software development activities in Mac and iOS
  • Familiarity with modern software development tools, version control systems, and bug tracking systems
  • Working knowledge and experience in participating in agile software development practices and team design sessions
  • Experience working on a software development team with a focus on the iOS operating system
Preferred Qualifications
  • Software engineer contributed to open-source development projects
