About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to enhance our manufacturing processes, optimize efficiency, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes and systems.
  • Create drawings, tools, and bill of materials for solenoid build to print contracts.
  • Utilize automation expertise to identify process automation and robotic integration opportunities, enhancing efficiency and reducing cycle times.
  • Apply six sigma principles to analyze production processes, identify areas for improvement, and lead projects to reduce defects and variability.
  • Oversee the design and optimization of production lines or cells, ensuring optimal throughput and product quality.
  • Serve as a technical resource for the production team, troubleshooting product issues, process issues, and providing innovative solutions.
  • Represent the Engineering department for Rocker Material Review Board meetings.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by training and mentoring team members on best practices and methodologies.
  • Lead the completion of PFMEA when required by the customer.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 3 to 5 years of SolidWorks experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Demonstrated managerial and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in utilizing advanced Excel functions for data analysis, modeling, and creating impactful visualizations.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and materials.
  • Proven expertise in automation implementation, six sigma methodologies, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Familiarity with production line design, optimization, and management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify process bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Independent thinker and self-starter who can take initiative and drive projects forward.
  • Mechanically inclined with a passion for pushing the boundaries of technology in the manufacturing space.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
