Job Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer develops and implements optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications, and customer, quality, and aerospace standards.

Recommends and implements improvements to production and transactional processes, methods and controls. Coordinates manufacturing launch for new or revised products. Priorities include process improvement, problem resolution, project management, and employee training. Applies Lean manufacturing methods to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes and methods to meet product specifications and customer requirements.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to production and transactional processes, methods and controls.
  • Coordinate manufacturing launch for new or revised products.
  • Apply Lean manufacturing methods to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Monitor project tracking status to ensure projects are completed accurately and timely.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering degree is required.
  • Job assignments will be based on experience, job opening and budget availability, and the performance level of the incumbent.
  • Level I: 0-2 years of manufacturing engineering experience
  • Level II: 2-5 years of manufacturing engineering experience
  • Level III: 5+ years of experience with at least 1 year leading or mentoring the work of assigned employees.
