Member Engagement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Member Engagement Specialist to join our dynamic team at Lafayette Federal Credit Union. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, resolving their inquiries and concerns, and promoting our products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Answer inbound member calls with kindness and professionalism, processing transactions and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct member outreach calls to identify product opportunities and promote our services.
- Proactively take ownership of member needs and resolve to the fullest extent possible.
- Cross-sell and promote Credit Union products and services to meet member needs.
- 1-3 years of banking and/or call center experience with cash handling, customer service experience, strong verbal communication, and understanding of confidentiality, privacy, and professionalism.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with members and colleagues.
