Job Summary The Office of the General Counsel is seeking a highly qualified Supervisory General Attorney to join our team. As a Supervisory General Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance to the Office of the General Counsel and other Departmental components on a wide range of legal issues. Key Responsibilities * Provide legal advice and guidance to the Office of the General Counsel and other Departmental components on a wide range of legal issues * Develop and implement legal strategies to achieve the goals of the Office of the General Counsel * Collaborate with other Departmental components to ensure effective and efficient delivery of legal services * Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and staff * Stay up-to-date on changes in the law and regulations affecting the Department Requirements * Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school * Admission to the bar of a state, territory, or the District of Columbia * At least 5 years of professional legal experience, including at least 1 year of experience at the GS-14 level or equivalent * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work effectively in a team environment Working Conditions * This position is located in the Office of the General Counsel, Division of Business and Administrative Law, in Washington, D.C. * The selected candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and to meet deadlines * The selected candidate will be required to travel occasionally to other Departmental components and to participate in meetings and conferences How to Apply If you are interested in this position, please submit your application, including your resume and a cover letter, to the contact information listed below.
