Patient Ambassador Role Overview

At Norton Healthcare, we are committed to establishing health equity in every neighborhood. As a Patient Ambassador, you will serve as the connection between patients and families and our nursing staff throughout the patient's experience. Your responsibilities will include rounding on patients and families, providing solutions to problems and concerns, and escalating care issues to appropriate nursing staff.


Key Responsibilities:

* Provide exceptional patient and family experience through proactive rounding and issue resolution
* Collaborate with nursing staff to address patient and family concerns and needs
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions
* Identify and escalate care issues to appropriate nursing staff


Requirements:

* Three years of customer service experience
* Associate Degree (desired)


Schedule:

* Tuesday and Thursday: 11am-4pm
* Saturday and Sunday: 8am-1pm
