We are seeking a skilled and creative Bartender to join our team at NeueHouse. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving drinks, and maintaining a clean and welcoming bar environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide thoughtful and personal service to members and guests, developing a rapport and ensuring a memorable experience.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Gallery Bar, restocking equipment and supplies as needed.
- Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of drink menus, including coffee, tea, non-alcoholic, wine, beer, and spirits.
- Prepare all beverages to the standards of NeueHouse and our partners, utilizing a proficient use of POS for ordering and billing purposes.
- Communicate effectively with servers to ensure timely delivery of drinks and alert the Bar Manager when running low on items.
- Develop and coordinate the organization of various areas of the Gallery Bar and other F&B outlets on property.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to member and guest needs, soliciting feedback to improve service, and responding to all member requests.
- Must be 21 years of age or older and possess a Food Handlers card.
- At least 1 year of experience in a cocktail bar with an ice program, syrups, garnish setup, beer, and wine.
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Impeccable teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to lift/move up to 10lbs, frequently lift/move up to 25lbs, and occasionally lift/move up to 50lbs.
- Salary Rate: $18.00 an hour
