Job Title: Bartender

We are seeking a skilled and creative Bartender to join our team at NeueHouse in Hollywood. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members and guests, creating memorable experiences, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide thoughtful and personal service to members and guests, developing a rapport and ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Gallery Bar, restocking equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Develop and articulate drink menus to guests, using engaged and thoughtful communication.
  • Execute orders in a timely and accurate manner, creating memorable service experiences.
  • Prepare all beverages to the standards of NeueHouse and our partners, including coffee, tea, non-alcoholic drinks, wines, beers, and spirits.
  • Communicate with servers to ensure delivery of drinks to members in a timely manner and alert the Bar Manager when running low on a particular item.
  • Develop and coordinate the organization of various areas of the Gallery Bar and other F&B outlets on property.
  • Competency in conversing with members, guests, and potential members regarding NeueHouse and our various programs and amenities.
  • Set up and breakdown of bar needs on a daily level.
  • Work multiple bar activations on the property, hosting several events weekly.
Requirements:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older and possess a Food Handlers card.
  • Consistently follow Food & Beverage sequence of service, utilizing all proper procedures standardized by Bar Managers.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
  • Committed to incredible teamwork and balance team and individual responsibilities.
  • Impeccable customer service by responding promptly to member/guest needs, soliciting feedback to improve service, and responding to all member requests.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a cocktail bar with an ice program, syrups, garnish setup, beer, and wine.
