Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a portfolio of 25-30 members, comprising digital and technology leaders from commercial entities within the Americas Large Enterprise Team, with revenue sizes ranging from $1 billion to $10 billion.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of members' priorities and challenges. Assist members in identifying solutions and executing their strategies by leveraging personal experience, Gartner's capabilities, and industry trends.
  • Encourage members to explore new ideas and innovative methodologies, providing an external perspective on their decisions and strategic direction.
  • Identify and deliver tailored solutions by evaluating members' Mission Critical Priorities (MCPs) and formulating a customized service strategy.
  • Facilitate virtual briefings, including workshops, research analyst visits, roundtables, and webinars.
  • Establish a robust partnership with Gartner's Sales team and collaborate to ensure strong member engagement and renewal of ExP business.

Who You Are:

  • Successful Strategic Executive Advisors possess the ability to adopt best practices, adhere to established processes, and welcome feedback with a commitment to continuous improvement. They exhibit natural curiosity and share their expertise with Executive Programs members, understanding their mission-critical priorities and building trust through value delivery and leveraging key internal partnerships to achieve results.
  • Experience in consulting and/or CxO/CIO roles with over 15 years of progressive exposure to technology (AI, BI, ML, Digital Transformation, Blockchain, Big Data, Cloud, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience leading or co-leading large-scale transformative initiatives.
  • Extensive knowledge of the focus areas relevant to digital/technology leaders and a deep understanding of the IT industry, including leadership, IT operations management, strategy and trends, and the use of metrics.
  • Expertise in revenue enablement and generation, market improvement, and risk reduction.
  • Experience launching a P&L and contributing to top-line growth, with substantial P&L responsibilities.
  • Experience in transitioning from project to product, creating new revenue streams.
  • Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and emerging technologies.
  • Advanced critical thinking and structured problem-solving abilities.
  • High tolerance and capability to lead and manage ambiguous situations.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and collaboration skills.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, facilitation, and presentation skills (Executive Presence).
  • Proven sales and/or business development experience with CxO-level executives.
  • Expertise in managing multiple priorities effectively.
