About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Code Coach to join our team at Codefi. As a Code Coach, you will play a critical role in leading the instruction of our Code Labs program, which provides individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the tech industry.

As a Code Coach, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to our participants, providing guidance and support, and helping to continually improve our curriculum and delivery methods. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement new content, and will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects that impact real startups and contribute to local tech companies.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about transforming lives through technology, and who has a strong background in software development and teaching. If you are a motivated and experienced professional who is looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the instruction of Code Labs, providing high-quality instruction and guidance to participants
  • Develop and implement new content, working closely with our team to continually improve our curriculum and delivery methods
  • Work on innovative projects that impact real startups and contribute to local tech companies
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement new programs and initiatives
  • Provide guidance and support to participants, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals
Requirements
  • At least 2+ years of software development experience
  • HTML/CSS
  • Javascript frameworks such as Angular (preferred), Next, React, or Vue
  • Experience communicating with REST API's
  • Ruby on Rails
  • Deployment (Heroku, AWS, and Hatchbox are nice-to-have)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Individuals who come from, have gone through, or worked with coding bootcamps or programs
  • Individuals who enjoy engaging with the local tech community, join dev groups, go to events, meetups, etc. to foster a collaborative environment
