Job Overview

Versar Global Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our environmental program management team, you will play a critical role in coordinating, consolidating, developing, and maintaining environmental governance and programmatic documents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and consolidate environmental governance and programmatic documents, including Department of the Air Force Instruction (DAFIs), policies, procedures, and action plans.
  • Provide detailed updates to leadership and stakeholders through participation in meetings and forums, and coordination of meeting materials, including slides, after-action reports, and minutes.
  • Perform program analysis and support the planning, development, and sustainment of environmental programs, collaborating across the DAF and with other DOD agencies.
  • Stay up-to-date on new regulatory and policy developments related to Emerging Contaminants and collaborate with AF/A4C, SAF/IEE, AFIMSC, and stakeholders to develop and articulate appropriate positions and actions.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other organizations to develop guidance for the field and oversee implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related technical field, and a minimum of 5 years' experience in environmental program management and development of DAF programs, policies, guidance, and regulations.
  • Previous Pentagon/staff experience is highly preferred.
  • Must have an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Successful results of pre-employment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screen.
  • Comply with company drug and alcohol policy.
  • Be authorized to work in the US or will be authorized by the successful candidate's start date.

Location and Compensation

The position will work a hybrid work schedule, with a couple of days of the work week spent at the Pentagon in Washington, DC.

Expected Salary: $115,000 – $125,000
