Job Summary:

MGA Entertainment is seeking a highly skilled Public Relations Strategist to lead the development, execution, and management of the public relations strategy for all of MGA Entertainment's consumer brands and all new brand launches.

The ideal candidate will have 7 years of experience in public relations or consumer communications within toy and/or entertainment industries or a similar consumer goods sector. A Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, consumer marketing, or a related field from a four-year college or university is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute innovative, targeted PR campaigns that generate national and/or international media and influencer coverage.
  • Collaborate closely with business owners, brand teams, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of consumer communications efforts within overall business objectives.
  • Manage the creation and dissemination of all communications, including press releases, Q&As, briefing documents, statements, articles, posts, pitches, and fact sheets.
  • Earn and maintain relationships with influencers and media contacts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, consumer marketing, or a related field from a four-year college or university.
  • 7 years of experience in public relations or consumer communications within toy and/or entertainment industries or a similar consumer goods sector.
  • Proven expertise in executing innovative, targeted PR campaigns that have generated national and/or international media and influencer coverage.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to collaborate with and influence others with or without direct authority.

What We Offer:

MGA Entertainment offers a competitive salary of $120,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year, depending on experience.
