We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate pharmacist to join our team at Lourdes Health. As a clinical pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing safe and effective drug utilization, collaborating with other clinicians, and ensuring exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical pharmacist services in Lourdes' acute care and behavioral health hospitals.
- Utilize computerized resources to ensure safe and effective drug utilization.
- Collaborate with other clinicians, such as nurses, physicians, and allied health professionals on a daily basis.
- Verify orders and write orders based on established protocols.
- Provide consultation and patient education.
- Coordinate and closely review activities of pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient operations in accordance with federal and state regulations and hospital policies and procedures.
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required.
- Minimum of two (2) years recent hospital pharmacy experience preferred, new graduates welcome.
- Must have/obtain a current Washington State Pharmacist License or license eligible.
- Current Certified Washington Pharmacy preceptor or certification eligible preferred.
- Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking preferred.
