Position Overview
  • Accountable for ensuring timely delivery of materials to customer job sites and other branch locations.
  • Facilitates load scheduling, order picking, and accuracy in order fulfillment in collaboration with the Branch Yard and/or Operations Manager.
  • Ensures compliance with all loading and unloading protocols, including documenting truck conditions and issuing necessary return numbers.
  • Tracks freight expenses utilizing the company's internal freight management system.
  • Responsible for verifying freight invoices for correctness against original quotes and delivery confirmations.
  • Maintains daily inspection records for company vehicles.
  • Ensures that truck drivers possess valid motor vehicle licenses as per DOT regulations.
  • Oversees that trucks and trailers are loaded securely and adhere to height and weight restrictions.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Engages in various tasks/projects as assigned, including participation in company committees.
  • Contributes to the promotion of safe working practices and a secure work environment.
  • Adheres to all company policies, compliance guidelines, and operational practices.
Required Qualifications

Educational and Professional Background
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in administrative, operational, or controlling roles is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Strong communication skills with proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, technical proficiency, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced skills in Excel.
  • Eager to learn new systems, products, and methodologies.
  • Detail-oriented team player capable of working independently in a dynamic environment.
