About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at JBS USA Holdings, Inc. in Plainwell, MI. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, testing, and repairing electrical and electronic systems, as well as scale devices, to ensure consistent and reliable operation of technical equipment within and around production areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, electronic, PLC, and scale systems.
  • Develop and execute planned maintenance programs for equipment within and supporting production areas.
  • Develop and execute training for the maintenance team to ensure proper skill level is maintained to support the equipment for this operation.
  • Work with the Corporate Engineering controls team to plan and execute technology-based projects.
  • Ensure compliance to local, state, and federal safety programs and work with the facility safety team to ensure plant programs meet these requirements.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be able to work in areas of heat and cold conditions and will be required to climb ladders, lift, and work with a variety of hand and power tools, shop machines, and tools.

Requirements
  • Minimum of High School with a Michigan Journeyman's Electrical License.
  • 2-3 years' experience in an industrial production facility or trade experience preferred.
  • Must have a Michigan electrical Journeyman's license.
