About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at JBS USA Holdings, Inc. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including power distribution, MCC, lighting, and emergency lighting.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot electrical supply and controls to and on equipment, and assist maintenance and technicians with troubleshooting.
  • Installation and Repair: Perform installation and repairs as needed with all electrical requirements, including running or repairing conduit and associated hardware and wiring.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance work orders and repair work orders as requested.
  • Documentation: Document and record setting of equipment as needed.
  • Training: Provide training to both operators and mechanics to ensure correct operation and maintenance of equipment.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all electrical work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Requirements
  • Licenses and Certifications: Must be a Licensed Journeyman Electrician or higher, or able to obtain a Statement of Michigan Journeyman Electrical License or higher.
  • Experience: 2 years of industrial electrical experience.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of NEC, electrical systems, and electrical equipment.
  • Skills: Ability to read and use electrical schematics in troubleshooting equipment failure, and basic knowledge of Allen-Bradley programmable logic controllers and VFDs.
