Job Summary:

Lambent is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Household Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our home and ensuring that everything runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Household Management: Oversee the management of our household staff, including hiring, training, and supervising employees.
  2. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date household inventories, including supplies, equipment, and other assets.
  3. Expense Management: Manage household expenses, including budgeting, tracking, and reporting.
  4. Vendor Management: Liaise with vendors and service providers to ensure that our household needs are met.
  5. Calendar Management: Coordinate family calendars, including scheduling appointments, events, and travel.
  6. Travel Coordination: Plan and coordinate all travel arrangements for the family.
  7. Event Planning: Assist with planning and executing parties and events.
  8. Miscellaneous Projects: Complete various projects as assigned by the family.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree from a competitive US college.
  2. Experience: At least 4 years of experience as a Household Manager or Personal Assistant.
  3. Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage staff, familiarity with task management software (Trello, Airtable), and some childcare experience.
  4. Personal Qualities: High degree of consistency, punctuality, and dedication to work role.

Working Conditions:

Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm.

Compensation:

$130,000 to $160,000 per year, plus health insurance.
