We are seeking a highly skilled Settlement Accounting Professional to join our team at Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert. This is a project-based opportunity for activities related to FDIC bank receivership, which will be included in our pre-award program.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert-level accounting and settlement services for FDIC bank receivership projects.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in settlement accounting.

Requirements:

  1. Four-year business, accounting, or equivalent degree from an accredited university, with a focus on accounting or auditing.
  2. Five (5) years of experience in bank operations, with a strong understanding of data processing systems.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels.
  4. Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, to prepare reports and forms.
  5. Ability to work in a detail-oriented and repetitive environment, with a strong attention to accuracy and quality.
  6. Capacity to learn technical and financial terminology to properly classify and file material.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft's Office Suite Products and ability to quickly learn standardized software/database systems used by the FDIC.
