Work Hours: Monday-Friday 10am-7pm
Patient Community: Orthopedic Rehabilitation Patients
Your Role:
As a Physical Therapist in an outpatient environment, you will deliver both direct and indirect services to specific age demographics within rehabilitation settings. You will employ process improvement strategies to meet the objectives of the Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Department. You will be responsible for practicing both autonomously and collaboratively across various environments to ensure optimal patient care.
Your Contributions to the Team:
- Promote evidence-based care standards and engage in lifelong learning through collaborative research, teaching, and clinical education within your peer group
- Actively participate in marketing initiatives to build referral relationships with local physicians, maintaining a minimum of two contacts monthly. Support community awareness through events and educational presentations as approved by management
- Assess Physical Therapy diagnoses and develop comprehensive care plans, recommending referrals when necessary
- Eligible to provide Direct Access Physical Therapy in outpatient settings, in accordance with state regulations
- Create and implement treatment plans based on practice standards, insurance guidelines, and patient needs, while monitoring progress and adjusting plans as needed
Qualifications for Success:
Minimum Requirements:
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of Florida, or possess a Temporary State of Florida permit
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience or clinical rotations in an outpatient setting
